Ground up work on cars worth doing properly. Stripped back, rust cut out and new metal let in, panels taken straight, then colour and clear laid down in the booth.
Back to bare metal
A restoration starts by finding out what is actually there. Old paint and filler come off, and what is underneath is usually worse than the car looked when it arrived. That is normal and it is better to know at the start than halfway through.
Once it is bare, the honest conversation happens: what needs cutting out, what can be saved, and what that means for the number.
Metal first, paint last
Rust is cut out and new metal let in rather than filled over. Panel gaps are set. Everything is blocked until the lines are straight, because a restoration that gets those wrong is obvious from across a room no matter how good the colour is.
Colour and clear
Then the part everyone sees. Colour goes on in the booth, clear over it, and it gets cut and polished to the finish the build deserves.
The car in the photos went from a bare shell to something that gets rolled onto a stand. That whole job happened in this shop, start to finish.
How long and how much
Neither can be answered from a photo. A restoration is scoped once the car is stripped and we can see what we are dealing with, and we would rather tell you that than quote a number we will have to walk back later.
What we can do is look at the car, talk through what you want out of it, and give you a real quote against a real scope.
